Great location and clean

This place is quite roomy. Large comfortable bed with lots of Channels on TV. Large balcony w a lake view. It’s about blocks away from the center and walking distance to lake activities. About a 20 minute walk to the bus station.

Cute little hotel. Small rooms, but comfy. We had a place in the back, but I would pay the extra for a room on the bottom level or 2nd floor in the front. Location is a quick walk to the town center and restaurants and public lake access. There was a kitchen but not sure what we were able to do there not a lot of explanation. Staff was friendly and recommended me the riviera maya snorkeling tour. I would recommend that some bottled water be left in the room.

Stayed one night here en route from Calakmul to Cancun. Very new, clean, and well appointed. We came in quite late, and they were super accommodating, staying up to check us in. Highly recommended. Advise paying cash to avoid transaction fees and call to book directly instead of going through booking.com to save money.

The new building, the room was immaculate, and we enjoy the big private terrace. You have access to a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast and enjoy it on the patio. The location near the Balneario communal and the plaza is also a big plus.

We found this Hotel on Booking.com and were able to book it for three nights for, @ 4150 Pesos, taxes included. We were so lucky, the Manager, Sylvia, put us in room number 3, which has double doors that open from the room onto a large balcony. A view of the beautiful blue water of Laguna Bacalar, and sunrises with a hint of palm tree despite the powerlines.

The hotel is spotless, queen size bed very comfortable, and even a soft pillow. Every day the maid leaves the towels in the form of a different animal. There is a fridge in the common area and a coffee pot for guests to make a morning cup to enjoy the sunrise. (One morning, they had run out of coffee). Since it’s on 14th, it was only a block to walk to public access piers and many places to eat nearby, and the fort and town square just a few blocks.

Nice, quiet area. Sylvia even connected us with her brother in law who provided us with a taxi for almost 7 hours to visit three ruins. (The cab was only 1500 pesos, which we thought very fair given the time and distance involved.) It made for a perfect getaway.
