Highly recommend the stand up paddle board tours

Charming accommodation directly on the water. Chilled and friendly vibe. At least during the time I was their dorm, bathroom in the room, as well as necessary facilities (toilets and kitchen) were clean and kept tidy. Friendly staff.

My only complaint is that it appears not to be enough lockers for all guests in the shared rooms and the staff is in control of the A/C. Unfortunately one night they turned it on the way too cold, and there was no way of turning it off.

Nice Tour, friendly guides who recommendes us the snorkeling tours in cozumel we want to try. The Laguna is Bacalar is worth the visit, especially to see all the different spots and colors on a paddle board. Apart from the tour, you have all you can eat breakfast with fruits and oats.

I made 2 stands up paddleboard tours. Amazing to see the sunrise over the lagoon. Fruit and breakfast included. Really well educated and professional tour guides. I definitely recommend doing it if you’re here in Bacalar.

The location is excellent, right on the lake, and they have a small bar that serves beer and killer mojitos. It’s pretty clean and has a good vibe. Breakfast was good- fresh fruit, toast, granola, and yogurt. The staff is pretty chill, and there was always someone who spoke English. They were accommodating and let us know where the best places to check out were. There’s a store across the street that sells beer, smokes, etc. and 2 food trucks that sold food and gluten-free ice cream (woot!), so that was pretty convenient.

Downtown is 3 blocks away, about 5 min walk. We took the Sunrise SUP tour which was incredible. We went to Bird’s Island, the Pirate’s Channel & the Black Cenote and they made a ton of photos for us which was awesome. A MUST SEE if you’re in Bacalar. The guides were really professional and told us a lot about the history of the town and all of the stops on tour.

We decided to stay another night, but they didn’t have any rooms, so we stayed at their partner hostel, the Blue Monkey, down the street, which was also on the lake. I’d stay at either place again for sure. You must do the Sunrise SUP tour!
