Top place in Bacalar

Premium location, friendly staff, excellent rooms, paddle boards, and kayaks free for guests. Breathtaking views of the Bacalar lagoon. Has a great deck where you can have a message with the breeze from the pool. The chef is one of the best in the area, so breakfast and dinner in place are fantastic.

Beautiful rooms with all the comfort (TV, jacuzzi, wifi, AC) in the middle of nature. Baby-Friendly (they just have one crib, but the bed is big enough for baby & parents) excellent service and food. Incredible view from the restaurant and pool. They have kayaks & paddleboards for guest.

This hotel is brand new, it was built in December 2018. It’s architecture, and its view of the lake takes your breath away! The rooms are absolutely beautiful! The employees are super friendly and recommend great activities such as a discover scuba cozumel in this island! You have to check it out!

This resort is brand new, and that crispness is everywhere. While the resort received some poor reviews early in January most of those startup problems have been resolved.

At this point, the resort is excellent even though it is still in the process of completion with the lobby area, grounds lighting, and some of the finishing touches for the rooms not quite finished. We stayed in the Grand Jeex suite and found it one of the most beautiful resort suites you could ask for.

The restaurant, “Hunab Ku” (Mayan for “The one god”) is terrific, serving very fresh food with a locally sourced, Yucatan influenced cuisine. The chefs-Pedro and Roberto-obviously take great pride in their creations, regularly checking with the diners to discuss their meals and the wait staff are excellent.

Try the soft shell crab taco and any of the dishes with octopus. The location on the lake is superior, the staff is unfailingly friendly, and massage at the spa are first class. If you’re looking for luxury in an exotic location-this is the place.
